Somalilandsun: (Burao) The ministry of Health office in Burao has just ended a seven day mother and child vaccination campaign. This comes after an announcement by the regional head of sanitation and hygiene Dr. Farah Ali Dalmar “on behalf of the ministry of health in Burao I declare the vaccination of mother and child in Burao ended”
The vaccination that was of three killer diseases namely measles, polio and hepatitis B was done 150 villages in Togdheer region.
The vaccination campaign was conducted by 150 mobile teams in and outside Burao.
The hygiene and sanitation head in brief explanation of the campaign said “the importance of this vaccination to the mother and child is unimaginable the vaccination is done three times annually.
