HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – Kenyan delegation in Somaliland declared their stance on the ongoing dialogue between Somaliland and Somalia which is expected to take place in Turkey on mid November of this year.
“In us like the many friends that you have, you will have people who have the privilege and experience to tell the stories first hand and thus friends desire to help in whatever small weigh, to contribute to development aspirations. As a people, we as a team and as a country support and encourage the ongoing dialogue between Somaliland and Somalia.”This was said by MS Ann Nyokabi a Kenyan Member of parliament and the leader of nine member delegation composed of legislators, Government officials and personal advisor to the Kenyan vice president who are an on official visit to Somaliland.
While stressing on the historical ties that bound the two countries MS Nyokabi who represents Kiambu Constituency in parliament where she sits on the foreign Relations and defense committee said that her high powered delegation is in the country to share and exchange views on various issues especially those that Somaliland excels in like Democracy and Livestock export.
