Somalilandsun- First Kenya airways direct flight flew from Mogadishu to Nairobi on 29thMarch 2017, after the agreements between the Presidents of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta and President of Somalia Farmajo. But, things seem to take a twist.
A Few days back, flights from Somalia were re-directed to highly sensitive security region Wajir northeastern of Kenya.
There was no notification from the Kenyan Ministry to Somalia made.
There is no respond from the Somalian government yet.
This is the first set back to president Farmajo of Somalia following the highly publicize agreement to resume direct flights between Nairobi and Mogadishu that was presented to parliament by the prime minister terming it as a major diplomatic coup.
