Somalilandsun-Intriguing discussion on “Counteracting the Drought Re-occurrence” in Somaliland took place in Mansour on 31st March 2017, which was organized by Social Development Organization DALSOOR, according to 1000 SMS send by Somaliland citizens.
The event was attended by youths and prominent Social active members in Somaliland community such. as Abdikarim Ahmed Mooge, Sheikh Adan Siro, Mahammed Mahamoud Dheeg and Ali Dool Ahmed.
Somaliland and other regions of the Horn of Africa are suffering from one of the driest years in memory. Severe shortages of food and water, along with spiralling food prices and the deaths of livestock, have plunged many families into destitution.
