Somaliland: Cabdale Maxamed Carab, the Minister of Interior and Security of the Republic of Somaliland, today received at his office the newly elected Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Hargeisa, along with several members of the Hargeisa Local Council.
The Minister extended his congratulations to the newly elected officials of the capital city, Hargeisa, and prayed that Allah grants them ease and success in fulfilling the responsibilities entrusted to them.
The Minister of Interior and Security, Hon. Cabdale Maxamed Carab, stated that he had maintained a strong working relationship with the former city leadership and affirmed his commitment to working closely with the newly elected officials as well.
The meeting held today between the Minister and the new leadership of the capital, Hargeisa, was also attended by several ministers from the government.
