The mayor also praised the Somaliland community for the significant role it continues to play in the development and progress of the city of Minneapolis under his administration.
Jacob Frey serves as the mayor of Minneapolis, a city with a large Somali population, and he is a member of the Democratic Party, under whose leadership he has previously held office.
