Somalilandsun- In the first phase of voter card issuance we are targeting around 250,000 registered voters from Awdal and Sahil regions as well as coastal parts of Sanaag region.
This development follows the start of voter card issuance in the country which was launched in Borame town the Awdal regional capital by the Somaliland National Elections Commission-NEC. on the 29th April.
According to chairman of the Somaliland election body Commissioner Abdikadir Imaan NEC is confident of Succesfull nationwide voter card Issuance Exercise
