Somalilandsun – “without doubt the activities of Edna Adan have greatly contributed to the health and education in the country”
This was stated by the Telesom company’s public and community relations manager Mohamed Abdi Darbo in function at the Edna Adan University Teaching hospital in which the local giant telecommunications firm handed over a contribution of $32350 .
“This contribution though part of our regular corporate responsibility is also on recognition of the immense value that madam Edna and her institutions has added into our country’ added Mr Darbo
According to the Telesom operative his firm which is witness to the over 40 years efforts exacted by Edna Adan mostly in the Somaliland health sector shall continue to activities support the various institutions she has established in Somaliland both financial and materially.
“This contribution of $32350 targets the ongoing construction of the Edna Adan university teaching hospital in Hargeisa, said Mr Darbo as he handed over the hefty Telesom check to the recipient 
Upon receipt of the check Dr Edna who thanked the visiting Telesom company team for continued support from their firm also briefed on the activities of her Edna Adan hospital foundation which is the flag carrier for the hospital, university and training center in Hargeisa.
According to the vice chancellor of Edna Adan University teaching hospital Mohamed Hussein Osman the entire republic of Somaliland shall always be Indebted to Telesom company, its staff and shareholders for the continued support it provides all over the country.
