As VP Sayli hosts Visiting Swedish Delegation in Hargeisa

Somalilandsun- The Vice President H.E. Abdirahman Abdillahi Ismael Sayli Received a Swedish delegation who paid him a courtesy call at the Presidency on Saturday.
The group led by Swedish legislative member Hon. Magnus Oscorsson also consisted of Somaliland lobbyist Mr. Michael Tortosan and an official of SIDA “Swedish international Development Agency”,hence were ushered along by Somaliland representative to Sweden Amb. Zakaria Hassan Wa’eis.
A press release from the office of the President asserted that the delegation discussed with the VP ways and means of stepping up bilateral relations and also as far as grants are concerned.
The report added that the VP on his part thanked the delegation for their visit hence brought them up to date with the prevailing drought situation and the relief efforts that was underway in the country.
The group which is said to be orientating itself with the situation on the ground is expected to be in the country for the next several days.
