BURAO (Somalilandsun) – 100 households in Burao town were beneficiaries of foodstuffs donated by the Wadani party in the Toghdeer regional capital.
The assorted foodstuffs including Rice, Dates, Cooking oil and drinks donated by the Diaspora members of the Somaliland opposition party Wadani was distributed to needy citizens from the Internal displaced persons cams of Kowsar, Ali Hussein, Haji Yusuf Aqil Yare and Medina in Burao town.
The donations that saw political party extend its “Ramadan Breakfast with Wadani” Project to Eastern parts of the country was distributed by senior party leaders led by Toghdeer regional chairman Hussein Kahin Hayd with the assistance of among others the national party secretary for Social Services and labour Ms. Hinda Jama Ga’an, Diaspora Wadani party members representative Hussein Hirsi Amir and the Bristol Wadani branch women wing leader Ms. Leila Muse Yusuf ‘Qulumbe’
The “Ramadan Breakfast with Wadani” Project which is expected to reach all corners of the country was launched by the party leader cum speaker of Somaliland Abdirahman Irro in Hargeisa earlier in the week
