Somaliland: Government Urged to Release Street Children Home Matron

HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – Opposition party UCID spokeswoman, and also the boss of ODHA a local NGO Ms Fatuma Saeed Ibrahim has accused the government for imprisonment of mother Teresa of Somaliland Ms Luul Ali Matan for no reason and asked for her immediate and unconditional release from custody.

Mrs. Luul Ali Matan was arrested on orders from the minister of labour and social services Mrs. Shukri Haji Ismail banadiri. Mrs. Fadumo criticized the government for her arrest and condemned it for double standards in dealing with woman ” this government was a busy hunting man on the streets, sending crooks to assassinate them now they have turned their attention to house wives who have no power to defend themselves ” the opposition spokes woman said.

Mrs. Luul deserves help, for herself less , she picked this children from the streets and made them a home the government needs to assist her not to arrest her ”, Mrs. Fadumo said that she will go the Somaliland Human Right Commission and discuss with them on the next course of action . She accused the government of the president Ahmed silanyo for failing Somaliland in her guest for recognition and closed its people in a container. The ODHA boss threatened to go to high places in cause of Mrs. Luul case
