Somalilandsun – “The dispensing of the public services is the right of the people upon their government”, Hon. Hersi Ali Hassan reassured the populace once the week.
The Minister of the Presidency made the reassurance in a passionate speech he gave at Qaloo’an in Doqoshey district of Togdeer region at a closing ceremony of a major consultation meeting the area residents held.
“The needs expressed very well by speakers are but rights the populace have”, said the minister.
He emphasized the fact that public service needs are a pre-requisite for a society hence that it was incumbent upon the administration of the day to avail and establish them.
He however cautioned that for the success of such public service dispensations to take effect well it was imperative that those that are a priority be targeted and that the people should work hand in hand with the government.
He said, “It is important that the people must collaborate with the government for the success of such establishments”, and emphasized further, “But for such to take effect those that are of priority needs be first targeted”.
