Somalia: Parliamentarian Assassinated In Mogadishu


Somalilandsun — A parliamentarian was last night shot by unknown men who are suspected to be among the outlawed Alshabab terror group as stated by government officials of Somalia.

According to Shabelle radio station Mohamed Abdullahi Iyow a prominent parliamentarian was gunned down by unknown number of armed in the Somali capital Mogadishu where he is was a member of the current Somali parliament.

The men escaped after shooting Mr. Abdalla and no one has claimed the killing as for now.

This is not the first time a politician is assassinated in Mogadishu since the new government took over.
