HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – Police in the Somaliland capital, Hargeisa have arrested a woman opposition party politician.
According to the UCID information secretary Yusuf Keyse Abdilahi, the leader of his party’s women wing Ms Halima Osman was arrested at her business centre in Hargeisa around noon.
“While no reasons were given for her arrest we suspect it has to do with her participation at the Hargeisa court where she had gone to witness the hearing of a case against Hatuuf newspaper owner Yusuf A Gabobe” said Abdilahi
