HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – The governor of Toghdeer region Mohamed Muse Diriye has termed his alleged resignation as falsehood intent on malice.
Stating that he was still at his post until ordered or directed otherwise by the Somaliland president Ahmed Mahmud Silanyo who appointed him the regional governor told those behind the rumours to desist and extend apologies immediately.
The resignation denial made during a telephone interview with jamhuuriya newspaper in Hargeisa where governor Mohamed is currently visiting on official duties is as a result of news pertaining to the alleged cessation of duties with immediate effect published by somalilndone.
