Somalilandsun -It is a great privilege to be welcoming Dr Edna Adan Ismail as special guest at next week’s screenings. Edna is visiting the UK to help launch the British branch of the Edna Adan Foundation. Fundraiser events are being co-hosted with Rite Turn, the Durbaan Association, SPAN and the Hayaat Women’s Trust – all proceeds to be donated to the Edna Adan University Hospital of Somaliland.

Next month, the film will be screened in the public events section of the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict at London ExCel. The Mission
While on production, the filmmakers made a pledge to support the efforts witnessed towards peace. This is a non-profit initiative designed to raise awareness, and therein provide vital funds to maintain and expand this work
