SALAHLEY (Somalilandsun) – Commuting between the Somaliland capital Hargeisa and Salahley is from now henceforth an all asphalt journey.
This development follows the official commissioning by President Ahmed Mahmud Silanyo of a 5kms stretch of roads bringing to a total of 28kms constructed through a government and ‘Salahley community partnership.
Enroute to the function in which he was flanked by various senior government officials, traditional and leaders the head of state was mobbed by hundreds of jubilant citizens waving green leaved twigs.
