HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – The Maroodi-jeeh regional soccer team has successfully defended it year old title.
In a repeat of the 2012 tournament the Maroodi-jeeh regional soccer team clashed with last year’s runners up Hawd with the reigning champions defending their cup via the spot kicks-penalty after a barren fulltime.
After the two teams scored their allotted 5 spot kicks each the decision was made to add an extra spot kick each in which Hawd lost theirs and Maroodi-jeeh succeeding thus a win of 6-5 goals.
