HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – “We anticipated enhanced interventions in the various levels of our country from grassroots to National”

This was informed by the somaliland minister of Health Dr Suleiman Isse Ahmed ‘Haglotosiye’ at the Egal Airport upon return from ten days of working visit to the UAE and Kenya where he meet with international bodies that partner his ministry.

“My most important meeting was in Nairobi where I participated in the regular quarterly meetings with our health partners from the UN and other international organizations” said Dr Haglotosiye.

The health minister who said that discussions with the Nairobi based organizations were fruitful was optimistic that a rejuvenated campaign of availing all nationals’ adequate health facilities and services shall be instigated soon.

To welcome the youthful health minster back was a large reception committee composed of senior government operatives including ministers of defence, water and eastern regions respectively, health ministry officials, Ahmed Habsade the presidential advisors on elections and various traditional leaders.

Before his departure the minister was involved in the Dr Maow saga which culminated with his (maow’s) arrest under orders of Hagaltosie’s Deputy Nimo Qawdan and ministry Director General.
