Somalilandsun: Somaliland CSOs would like to express gratitude to political parties for showing unity and cooperation that ensured a peaceful election transpired.
Notable is On the 30th of May 2021, a before the election day when the three political parties held a press conference stressing the importance of fair, free and peaceful election.
Similarly Civil Society Organizations – CSOs would like to recognize the Somaliland people for showing patriotism and all participants, including the civil society organizations, elders, religious leaders, election monitoring committees, international/local monitors/observers, international partners, Ambassadors and international delegations and everyone who has shown interest and participated in Somaliland’s combined parliamentarian and local council election for 31° of May 2021.
This was stated in a post Somaliland Parliamentary and local councils elections 2021 preliminary report released jointly by SONSAF, CPA and NAGAAD Network will produce a joint report for the detailed information on the cases reported by Elections Situation Room, Election Monitoring office and Women’s Situation Room.
