PERTH (somalilandsun) – @25 Somaliland is spreading its quest for recognition far and wide with Australia being the latest hunting ground.
Apart from parleying the Somaliland Diaspora in the Kangaroo sun-continent two Hargeisa based politicians have also met and held discussions with parliamentarians in the capital Perth.
Member of Parliament,Abdirahman Mohamed Jama ( AWXOOG ) and Fadumo Saeed Ibrahim, foreign affairs adviser to Waddani Chairman and Presidential candidate Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi Irro visited Western Australia Of Parliament today 18th May 2016.

At the Legislative Assembly the two Somaliland politicians watched the debates in full swing. Later on they had meetings with different members of Parliament both from the opposition and ruling coalition.
The Somaliland delegation had discussed a lot of issues with the Western Australia Members Of Parliament such as Somaliland recognition and informed them that today is Silver Jubilee Celebrations . The 25th anniversary since the dissolution of the ill-fated union with Somalia and reclamation of Somaliland sovereignty and independence.
They also discussed how Australians can help Somaliland from different areas such Education mainly scholarships, irrigation and water management and Health. ( Please note Photography was not allowed inside the parliament buildings ).
The two senior members of the opposition Wadani party have been in Australia as part of participants in festivities marking the somalilandis25 anniversary of independence and have so far visited various cities in the sun-continent for meetings with Landers in the Diaspora.
