Somalilandsun: The Somaliland presidency is preparing for commencement of talks with neighbouring Somalia.
According to Geeska Afrika sources president Muse Bihi Abdi is scouting for individuals to be members of his negotiating team once the stalled talks are resumed.
These sources indicate that those being considered for the team to be led by the Somaliland foreign affairs minister are local intellectuals based locally and abroad as well as among some of who participated in the talks during the administration of former president Silanyo.
The possible resumption of the talks is being fronted by Ethiopia prime minister Abiy Ahmed who jumpstarted his quest in February when he hosted the first ever face to face meet between president Bihi and his Somalia counterpart in Addis Ababa.
