LAS ANOD (Somalilandsun) – For the first residents of Las Anod the capital of Sool region shall have a national leader commemorating the country’s anniversary of independence amidst them.
Eng Feisal Ali Warabe the chairman of opposition political party of UCID is in Las Anod where he is leading a large team of his party’s national officials to Sool region where they shall participate festivities marking the 24th anniversary of Somaliland independence on 18th May 2015.
The opposition party leader whose other objective of the visit is to motivate units of the armed forces stationed in Sool region and conduct a party registration drive presented the army with numerous heads of camels and goats while the police received a huge consignment of medicines donated by UCID.
Upon receipt of the medical donation the Sool regional police commander Colonel Abdirahman Nuur Oolhayee thanked Eng Feisal and his party members for the drugs that shall help uplift the health of law enforcers in the region.
The Engineer turned politician and his entourage that was given a warm welcome by a local community reception committee was led to the house of his official host and main Sool region traditional leader Garad Jama Garad Ismail where he shall stay during he shall in the duration of his visit.
Those in the UCID entourage include 3rd party chair Mujahidin Ali Gurei, regional party coordinator Abdiqani Ibrahim Salaf, Secretary for Social affairs Abdirahman Ahmed Ali, Press Secretary Yusuf Keise Abdilahi, Secretary for human rights Hussein Badmaah and North American branch party chair Ali Yusuf Qalib among others.
