HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – The local NGO shaqodoon unveiled a three days seminar at the university of Hargeisa conference hall to train and help students create jobs from knowledge learned.
Participants were drawn from university student and local non-governmental organization and international organization. Present at the venue were senior college officials and Havayoco a local NGO. Shaqodoon which was established 2008 strives to train the country youths on job search and liaises with international organization to fight UN unemployment amongst the country’s youth.
The shaqodoon initiative is to sensitize the country’s youth on ways to create jobs by themselves by approaching micro-finance institutions coming up with available project.
The three days seminar will be a stepping stone and eye opener for the youths languishing in un-employment.
