Somalilandsun: Partners in the UK government funded Hargeisabypass are meeting in Hargeisa on the 4th May 2021 to officially launch the project.
The aim of the Somaliland ministry of transport and roads development project which is availed UK funding through the Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office-FCDO is to facilitate faster movement of humanitarian aid to the country as well as economic development along #Berbera corridor.
The Hargeisa bypass shall be realized upon conversion of 22.5km of roads into a 2 lanes single carriageway.
The launch is expected to be witnessed by the visiting British Envoy to Somaliland and Somalia Ambassador Kate Foster
