Why president Silanyo did not meet with Erdogan on Tuesday as planned
Somalilandsun – After suffering from a cold, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was taken to Ankara Atatürk Research and Training Hospital for few hours on Tuesday where he went through medical examination.
A parliamentary group meeting of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) was cancelled on Tuesday morning due to Prime Erdoğan’s health.
After remaining in hospital for a few hours on Tuesday, Erdoğan spoke to press outside the hospital and said that he has been advised to rest at home for a week to recover. Health Minister Dr. Mehmet Müezzinoğlu visited the prime minister shortly after he was hospitalized.
In a similar development on Monday, pro-Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) leader Selahattin Demirtaş was hospitalized after suffering from chest pain in Diyarbakır. He is now reportedly in good condition.
