Somalilandsun:Vigilant Somaliland security forces have nabbed two ministers of Ethiopia’s
Somali administered region also known as zone 5 who were trying to flee the
dragnet. The former education minister Mr.Ibrahim Adam Mahad and his
justice counterpart Mr.Abdi Jama entered Somaliland territory through the
border post town of Wajale.
This is according to information seconded from Hubaal newspaper. The two
ministers were arrested on Tuesday this week as they tried to board a plane
at Hargeisa’s Egal International Airport on their way to Mogadishu.
Somaliland authorities have confirmed the influx of people fleeing from
the zone 5 region of Ethiopia with loot stolen from Jigjiga and her
environs.
