Somalilandsun: The entire countryside was on Tuesday turned orange as the Wadani Party launched its campaign
The main event was in the Kulmiye party stronghold of Gabile where thousands of Wadani flags waving residents welcomed opposition party leader Abdirahman Irro.
In his address, Irro urged thanked the formerly diehard Kulmiye party Supporters for choosing Wadani
The same functions officiated by various Wadani party leaders took place nationwide.
In Awdal region the party’s election campaign 2021 were attendant in Borame by the Wadani vice presidential candidate in the Somaliland elections 2022 Mohamed Ali Aw Abdi
In the Toghdeer region, the opposition party’s chief operating officer Hirsi Haji Ali led a huge rally with thousands of supporters at the Burao stadium
In Las Anod the entire Sool regional capital was completely orange as MP candidate Abdirizaq Khalif Ahmed took the town by storm
Similar events took place in Hargeisa, Berbera, and Erigavo
Wadani has fielded 82 and 249 aspiring MPs in the eight regions and 249 councillors in the 23 electoral districts
