HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – Various stakeholders from the diaspora, University students, Public and private sectors are to hold discussions on “Entrepreneurs’ Role in Economic Development & Job Creation”
According to Mr Eid Ali Ahmed of the Somaliland Societies in Europe- SSE who invited all members of the society currently in the country to participate informed that the Discussions shall be contacted at a Symposium on Entrepreneurs’ Role in Economic Development & Job Creation to be held at Hargeisa University on 30th June 2013
Established in 2001 the Somaliland Societies in Europe– SSE and it is a network of organizations representing about 45 Somaliland community organizations from 11 European countries is a voice for Somaliland organizations in Europe.
“This Symposium is an integral part of the Somaliland Employment Conference – Getting Somaliland to Work to be held 1 – 2 July at Mansoor Hotel” informed Eid Ali who is a Chartered Fellow CIPD, MBA, PGCE and currently Associate Lecturer at Cardiff University & Business, Management and Development Consultant
this unique symposium which is the first of its kind in the country in which SSE’s is encouraging local Universities students to attend in order to inspire them to be innovative in creating their own businesses, becoming self-employed and convincing them that the illegal migration is extremely dangerous and no longer Europe is panacea.
The SSE is specifically encouraging students from local universities to attend the symposium as a prelude to inspiring them to be innovative in creating their own business thus become self-employed in addition to convincing them that the illegal migration is extremely dangerous and no longer is Europe panacea
