HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – The country has lost a prominent elder and peace maker
The president H.E Ahmed Mahmud Silanyo has extended condolences to the Family, Relatives and friends of the late Haji Ahmed Haji Mahmud Abdi who passed away and buried in Burao on 30th November 2012.
The late Haji Ahmed popular known as ‘Haji October’ was an elder who participated greatly in the country’s reconciliation and peace building process especially in Toghdeer and Eastern regions.
The head of state who urged all to bear the death of the late Haji October with dignity also prayed to Allah for succour to the soul of the departed whom he termed as a diligent citizen.
