HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – The Interior Minister has hailed the Police Force for their steadfast vigilance in the management of peace and security in the country.
Hon. Ali Mohammed Waran’adde praised the servicemen at a function where he handed 7 police tailored vehicles for the enforcement of traffic law.
The minister handed the keys to the Chief Police Commissioner Brig. Abdillahi Fadal Iman at the Police Head quarters.
He reiterated the government’s commitment to boost the capacity building of the department hence equip the force with modern technical equipment.
He further pledged that plans are underway to avail helicopter services to the police.
On his part the commander Brig. Gen Fadal said they would step up their duties and for the second time in a week caution unruly drivers.
