Somalilandsun: Staff from Somaliland Ministry of Finance Inland Revenue district offices in Hargeisa were trained on how to use online tools to register taxpayers and process their tax filings.
The Inland Revenue department is using digital systems to make taxpayer administration and services more efficient and accountable. The systems enable tax officials to easily register taxpayers, update their details, and assist them in processing their tax returns.
The Ministry of Finance Development is working to modernize tax administration, with support from the UK-funded Prosperity from Revenue (PROFR) programme, implemented by Oxford Policy Management.
