Somalilandsun- According to information leaked to Somaliland sun , the Somaliland minister of information, culture and national guidance Mr.Abdirahman Abdillahi Farah Diriye (Guribarwaqo) has been hospitalized in Canada.
Our source informed that the minister is recuperating in a Toronto Hospital following a surgery in both of his eyes.
The informant confirmed that the minister has been in hospital for the past three days and his condition is stable.
The minster is amongst the few ministers close to the president Musa Bihi Abdi and his absence will be felt within the presidential palace.
The controversial minister caused an uproar within a cross section of the country after publishing a book that painted women from a certain clan in bad light. This caused the public to call on the president to fire Mr.Guri Barwaqo however the head of state decided to stick with him.
