HARGEISA: (Somalilandsun)- In a ceremony organized by the ruling party
Kulmiye to welcome defectors from the opposition party Haqsoor was
held at Maansoor Hotel conference hall.
The event was attended by the First Lady Amina Sheikh Mohammed Jirde (Amina-weris) several ministers, of parliament, traditional leaders and senior Kulmiye party
officials. Kulmiye party Secretary General Mr. Hassan Said Yusuf welcomed the defectors to the ruling party and said that it will boost the ruling party hence termed the occasion historic.
The Kulmiye party second vice-chairman Mr. Mohammed Yusuf Wabeye said
that they had worked tirelessly to lure the Haqsoor party members back
to the ruling party Kulmiye which he claimed was a victory to the
nation
Mr. Abdikadir Iman a member of Haqsoor party said that he was happy to
join the party and from now on will work closely with the president
H.E. Ahmed Mohammed Mohamud (Silanyo).
