Somalilandsun: The Somaliland House of Elders has sent a message of peace to the warring factions in Dhabar-dalol area of Hudun district in Sool region.
A statement from the chairman of the Somaliland House of Elders, signed by the first deputy speaker of the house, Said Jama Ali, read
“The Guurti of the Republic of Somaliland, sitting today, Saturday 17/04/2021, sends a message of peace to the warring clans in the Sool region, especially in Dhabar-dalol.
First of all, the council sends its condolences to the families of the victims and may God have mercy on those who died and may God heal those who were injured, restore the well-known goodwill of peace and resolve their grievances through dialogue.
As the House of Elders, we propose the deployment of the National Army to end the conflict in Dhabar-dalol, Sool region.
Finally, the statement from the Somaliland House of Elders said, “The House once again calls on these fraternal communities to end the conflict because of the loss of a lives, existing drought and more so respect to the values of month of Ramadan. Read statement below
