Buhodle residents travel long distances in search of water

BUHODLE (Somalilandsun) – A water shortage is being experienced in Buhodle District of Ayn region with the scarcity hampering quite enjoyment of both human & animal lives.

The mayor of the town Omar Mahdi Haji while addressing press has attributed the scarcity to prolonged draught coupled with the failure of seasonal rain falling as priory forecasted. Most water wells dried up resulting to upshot in the price of the commodity.

“Wells have dried up during these dry spells with the regional headquarters Buhodle & centers like Sool-jogto, Meygagle, Dhilalo, Shan-gale, Bali-dool,Kal-shale, Hagogne, Sarman-tuke and Dundan being hit severely” noted the town’s mayor.

Meanwhile residents of Buhodle town have assembled at the main stadium on the morning of Monday to conduct rain prayers where they ask God to cool them in these trying moments.
