Somalilandsun: From plans to hold a one man one vote for the first time in Somalia to never squabbles on the timeline and candidates selection makes pursuit of apt democratic process in the country untenable.
As with Somalia’s 2016-17 electoral process, the parliamentary and presidential elections have been several times delayed, and are now scheduled to begin next month.
The delay, as it did last time, led to parliament extra-constitutionally extending its term, which expired in December.
