Somalilandsun- The Sixth Conference on Climate Change and Development in Africa (CCDA–VI) will be held from 18-20 October at the United Nations Conference Center in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The conference theme is “The Paris Agreement on climate change: What next for Africa?” and is organized under the auspices of the Climate for Development in Africa (ClimDev-Africa) programme.
The overall objective of CCDA-VI is to understand the implications, nuances, challenges and opportunities of implementing the Paris Agreement for Africa in the context of the continent’s development priorities.
CCDA-VI will bring together policy makers, researchers, climate scientists, youth, civil society organizations, negotiators and the private sector.
