Somalilandsun: The government of Zambia is pursing diplomatic relations with Somaliland.
This pursuit is being fronted by the Zambian Justice minister Gavin Lubinda who is leading a delegation from the government in Lusaka on an official visit to Hargeisa.
The Zambians were received at the Egal International airport by the Somaliland acting and Deputy Minister of foreign affairs and International Cooperation Liban Yousuf Osman.
The visitors whose duration of stay is yet to be ascertained are expected to meet and hold talks with President Musa Bihi and other government officials
Revealing the arrival of the visiting delegation through the ministry’s official Twitter account @somalilandmfa the acting FM wrote “received a high-profile delegation from Zambia led by zambia minister of justice H.E Gavin Lubinda.
The Zambian visit comes a short while after a similar one from their neighbours MalawiMalawi that was led by foreign minister Eisenhower Mkaka.
The Malawian visit coincidedcoincided with that of a South African government, Industry and political parties delegation led by the national coordinator of the South African Communist Party Mhelekwa Nxumalo
