Somalilandsun – Over 200 militiamen from Puntland are reportedly receiving specialized military training from US Military Instructors.
The militia training at a base a few kilometers outside the Bosaso the port city of the administrative region of Puntland now in its third week is being conducted by military instructors from the Camp Lemonnier, a United States Naval Expeditionary Base in Djibouti with the Puntland Secret Service providing language translation services
Though the purpose of the US army militia training is yet to be verified the skills being imparted include intelligence gathering and instant combat mission capabilities reports Puntlandsun
