Former President of the Republic of Somaliland Dahir Riyaale Kahin yesterday paid a visit, greetings and prayers to the newly elected President of Somaliland, Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilaahi Cigaal (Irro).
President Dahir Riyaale first prayed to Allah SWT to make the elected president’s term in office easy for him, and he gave him advice related to leading the country as well as social cohesion, which are things that Somaliland has excelled in compared to other neighboring countries.
The third president of Somaliland, Dahir Rayaale Kahin, also spoke about the experience and expertise he gained from governing the country during his time in office.
President Riyale and his wife recently arrived in the country to attend the inauguration and swearing-in of the newly elected president of Somaliland and the handover of office of the outgoing president.
The meeting was accompanied by the President-elect and Vice President-elect, AMB Mohamed Ali Aw Abdi.
In conclusion, the elected president of Somaliland has recently been holding various meetings with different segments of society such as clerics, scholars, Muslims, and businessmen, from whom he has sought their advice on how to develop the country.
