HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – The Somaliland ministry of education has commenced final exams for form four and class eight in the country’s secondary and primary schools.
This is per the education minister Zamzam Abdi Aden who addressed the press at her Hargeisa offices where she was flanked by her Director of examinations Daud Ahmed Farah.
According to the education officials 7779 students are sitting for their final form four examinations for 2014 in all secondary schools in gthe country.
“As per class eight there are 13320 pupils sitting their final examinations nationwide as a prelude to joining secondary schools”
Ms Aden further revealed that for the first time in the country’s 23 years history national examinations are taking place in all schools in the country both public and private.
