Somalilandsun: The interior minister of Somaliland Ali Mohamed Waran-adde, has received at his office a delegation from medicines Sans Frontiers (MSF) on Tuesday.
MSF delegation led by the their director general Mr. Purino Jochum with senior officials of MSF who are on working visit to Somaliland.
MSF once managed few hospitals in different regions in Somaliland before it suspended their health sector activities a year ago.
The director general of MSF Mr. Purino Jochum stated that they should restart their operations to Somaliland with in short period.
The Minister of interior of Somaliland Ali Waran-ade, that his government is fully welcoming their partners and thanked the delegation for their fact finding tour.
The Minister highlighted that Somaliland community need for gaining to access the health facilities. Both sides agree to strengthen in their cooperation in all aspects.
The MSF delegation is due to meet officials of ministry of health to discuss this issue during their tour to Hargeisa, capital of Somaliland.
