Somalilandsun – Kate Stanworth is excited to invite you to her upcoming Somaliland Elections photo exhibition, which will be opening this Friday 18th October at Oxford House, Bethnal Green.
The exhibition explores two important events in Somaliland – the local elections in November 2012 and the wonderful Hargeisa Book Fair in August this year. Her photos featured in a BBC online gallery and on BBC World TV.
Kate says that : “The show coincides with the Somali Week Festival, which has poetry readings, films and discussions running every evening. There is no official private view to my exhibition, but let me know when you want to visit and I’ll try and be there to show you around, and to share a piece of cake in the cafe!”
