HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – The Ruling Party of Kulmiye has announced plans to Host National Consultation Dialogue on 20th May 2015.
This was revealed by the Somaliland Vice president Abdirahman Abdilahi Ismail ‘Sayli’ during a press conference at his offices in Hargeisa where he urged the opposition parties of UCID and Wadani to attend thus resolve the prevailing political acrimonies resulting from postponed elections.
“Let us sit down together and resolve the differences that arose after Guurti allocated April 2017 as date for country to undertake presidential and parliamentary elections” said sayli adding that somalilanders are reckoned with amicable and peaceful conflict resolution
The VP who said that the burning issue of postponed elections are a priority for the administration said that 20th May is the most appropriate day since the country is set to hold its 24th anniversary of independence on 18th May a day he urged all and sundry to commemorate in pomp and style both in the country and Diaspora
