Somalilandsun: The Somaliland Ministry of Transport and Roads has issued a tax exemption for vehicle owners in the country’s eastern Buhoodle region.
While the ministry is yet to issue an official statement confirmation of this development was made by the regional governor of Buhoodle Mustafe Abdi Muse during a briefing in his offices where welcomed the move.
“I thank the President of Somaliland Muse Bihi Abdi for ordering this tax exemption, and the Minister of Transport and Roads for implementation” said the governor while urging local motorists to take Advantage of the tax holiday.
While informing that the government has opened an office to issue driver’s license in Buhoodle town the regional administrator who was accompanied by the transport ministry regional coordinator, warned non-residents of Buhoodle against trying to take advantage of the tax exemption which is limited to region and its environs.
