KUWAIT CITY (Somalilandsun) – The Somali minister of foreign Affairs Ms Fozia Yusuf Haji Aden is in Kuwait to attend a 64 nations meeting that pulls its participants from Arabian and African countries.
Ms Fozia is accompanied by the Speaker of the Mogadishu based Somali Parliament Prof Mohamed Osman Jawari who will is the official representative of President Hasan Sheikh Mahmud who is politically indisposed due to the wave of opposition engulfing him at the moment.
According to reports the 64 nation meeting in Kuwait shall deliberate on how to support the multi-sectored development in Africa as well as the enhancement of Afro-Arab interaction and cooperation.
As Ms Fozia Yusuf the most powerful woman in the Horn of Africa region sits with the cream of political and economic leaders in the Arab world and Africa his boss is engaged in a multi-dimensional political dance the main tune being “My Prime minister Mr Shirdoon must vacate office soonest possible for incompetence”
The tussle between the president and his prime minister whom he the president nominated to the post is now in the realms of parliament where the final decision rests.
