Somalilandsun: The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) launched several field activities to celebrate the Food and Nutrition Security Resilience Program (FNS-REPRO) in Somaliland.
FAO launched the field activities in the last week of January 2021.
Furthermore, the United Nations agency also signed Letters of Agreement (LOAs) with several of its partners in the East African nation.
FAO signed such an agreement with the Horn of Africa Voluntary Youth Committee (HAVOYOCO) in Sanaag Province.It also signed another agreement with Unique Vision Research and Development Organization (UVRDO) in Sool.
Netherlands’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs funded the FNS-REPRO projects in Somaliland.
The program was launched in partnership with Somaliland’s Ministry of Livestock and Fishery Development.
