Hargeisa (Somalilandsun)- The President of the Republic of Somaliland H.E Musa Bihi Abdi reshuffles his cabinet on Monday, sacking two key ministers in his government.
President Bihi fired National Planning Minister Omar Ali Abdilahi and Agriculture minister, Mohamed Haji Osman Jama.
Bihi appointed Mr. Ahmed Adan Ahmed Buhane to take up the National Planning ministry.
The president has also appointed Mr. Abdikadir Iman Warsame to take up the Agriculture ministry.
Somaliland’s head of state, Muse Bihi Abdi, also fired the Deputy minister of information, Abdirahman Ali Abdi, Deputy national planning minister, Ahmed Hassan Nur, Chairman of National Insurance Agency Sulieman Ali Awad Bukhari, and his deputy Ms. Sahra Adan Yusuf, assistant chairman of the quality control commission, Hon. Abdiwasac Mohamed Yusuf, and the Director-General of the Transport Ministry, Ahmed Abokor Mohamed.
In the reshuffle, the president appoints the vacated posts and previously vacant posts in Some of the government institutions.
Mohamud Warsame Jama as the deputy minister of Public Works, Mohamud Jama Warfaa as the Deputy Minister of Livestock and Fishing, Yurub Abdi Abib, former deputy minister of livestock appointed as the deputy minister of Rural Development, Abdimajid Ibrahim Mumin appointed as deputy minister of Social Affairs ministry.
