Somalilandsun- Police has formally identified The victim of a murder in Oxford last week caused by multiple knife wounds.
Police were called at about 7.55pm on January 3 following reports that a teenager had been found with stab wounds in Friars Wharf.
The victim has now been formally identified as Harun Jama, aged 16, of Birmingham.
His next of kin have been informed.
He was taken to hospital but died from his injuries after the stabbing. Officers attended the scene along with the ambulance service and Mr Jama was taken to hospital for treatment.
Two people have been charged in connection with the incident.
Craig Ford, aged 33, of Luther Street, Oxford, has been charged with one count of murder, one count of robbery, one count of possession of a bladed article and two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
Alice Ashcroft, aged 25, of Luther Street, Oxford, has been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
A scene watch, which was put in place while police officers carried out an investigation, has now been lifted and footbridges in the area have been re-opened.
